Anto Lloveras is a Madrid-based ARCHITECT, FILMMAKER, CHOREOGRAPHER and ART CURATOR. He is the DIRECTOR at LAPIEZA International Art Series and has curated 120 exhibitions since 2009, presenting 1300 artworks in collaborations with artists, artist-run spaces, museums, festivals, and online platforms. The exhibitions are based on the always unstable onsite-online shows. Since 2012 he has the support of the Spanish Ministry of Cultural Affairs. CO-founded URBANAS, an internationally rewarded architecture office for innovation in TRANSDISCIPLINARY DESIGN. In parallel to his independent curatorial work, he is the founder of CAPA, a council on new hermeneutics and research at UCR3. His work has been exhibited and published in different journals and he is editor of two forthcoming publications. Lloveras was trained as an architect at ETSAM Madrid and the Delft University of Technology. Lloveras has taught studios and seminars at NTNU Norwegian University of Science and Technology. His current interests include the structure of philosophical hermeneutics in relation to SOCIOPLASTICS, the device he develops in epistemology and narratives to address conceptual ART.

LAPIEZA is a relational art agency founded in 2009 by Anto Lloveras, in Madrid. Since its inception, it has developed a curatorial and exhibition concept based on generation of a symbiotic language between the conceptual, the objectual and the relational. The form of museography and the resulting narratives in the exhibitions is called SOCIOPLASTICS, which combines the visible result in the gallery, the exposed physical body, its networked memory and the links between the agents that make it up. LAPIEZA has presented 1500 works, framed in 130 series and has developed a mobile frame, in which it portrays, documents and narrates transdisciplinary creation processes in international settings.
